Blogging is fun to do! It's creative writing for all or none to peruse. I started blogging last fall out of curiousity. Found that I really enjoyed it. Started researching online to find sites that supported bloggers and came across Snapbomb.
Voicing our opinions is what being American is about. The web allows a democratic platform to voice our views and according to the advertising crawlers, maybe even get a cut of the advertising dollar for that particular view. Snapbomb is such a website that creates all kinds of opportunities to write about and collect some coin. Keeping up with subjects of personal interest each day of the week keeps me current on world events. Researching journalists and articles to support similar points of view is very educational.
Websites like Snapbomb help to keep our voices alive and heard on all types of subjects. It's good to write. Write about things that make you feel good and keep your mind thinking!

Weight in media?
All the money that's spent in the media through advertising for dieting and weight loss, it seems like such a waste. If people could stick to the basics of eating and exercising right for their own body and the media could actually take responsibility for presenting real people, then I wonder if we could all use that money towards something more useful?
The "news" that broke out about Jessica Simpson's mom jeans and how much weight she had gained. Are you kidding me? The woman is petite and voluptuous, and probably should not have worn jeans with pockets like that. That simple! Nothing to do with her weight!! Thank goodness, she handled herself with grace and dignity. Go Jessica Simpson ... prove the media wrong and the people right!
The double standard: Why has nobody mentioned the true weight gain of the men on the show, 30 Rock? Both Alec Baldwin and Tracey Morgan have plumped up. Just looking at the photos of them in the opening credits shows the large amount of weight gain in both of them. But does anyone say anything about that? DOUBLE STANDARD!!!!!! It's not that they picked the wrong jeans to wear. They wear suits and baggy clothes. They're still talented, but there needs to be a fair representation for both sexes of what's real for people in their body type.
